Vuly CEO and Founder Joe Andon attended the launch of the 2017 Lord Mayor's Business awards this week, as winner of Business Person of the year for 2016. Joe is hopeful that this years finalists are bringing some new and innovative ideas to the table.
According to Lord Mayor Graham Quirk, in the world index of innovative cities, Brisbane has gone from 85th to 60th place. The 2017 Lord Mayor's Business Awards also have a new category this year- the award for outstanding small business, for business of up to 20 employees.
The awards have now been running for 12 years with 11 award categories! Joe is looking forward to finding out winners for this year, announced on October 2017.
