Vuly Trampolines has taken out three awards at the Toys R Us National Conference Gala 2014 in Sydney, out of a possible six award categories.
Outdoor Toy Vendor of the Year 2014 - Voted by TRU management, buyers and head office staff
Outdoor Toy Product of the Year 2014 - Voted by the delegates at the Toy Fair
Most Interactive and Engaging Stand (Stand of the Year) 2014 - Voted for by the delegates at the Toy Fair
Toys R Us Chief Toy Testers made three visits to the Vuly stand; and proclaimed the Vuly Thunder to be their “Favourite Toy of the Show”!
The rapidly expanding Brisbane-based trampoline company has forged a strong partnership with Toys R Us in Australia, which has been instrumental in the successful roll out of Vuly’s unique Thunder trampoline over the past year. These awards recognise the continuing relationship between the two companies and showcase Vuly’s position as an industry leader.
“I am honoured to receive this acknowledgement of the hard work for the Vuly team in launching Vuly within the Toys R Us Australian business,” Vuly’s National Sales Manager, Jordan Walsh, says of Vuly’s win. “We have built a fantastic partnership over the past twelve months, and I look forward to a fantastic Christmas 2014/2015 season.”
Thunder, the winner of Toy’s R Us Outdoor Product of the Year and a Good Design Award 2014 (Sport and Leisure), is made of simple to assemble, non-conventional parts and is aesthetically unlike any other trampoline on the market. Its international success is a testament to Vuly’s innovation and determination to overhaul the trampoline industry.
Vuly looks forward to working more closely with Toys R Us Australia over the coming months, as they join forces to implement collaborative pop-up stores at Westfield shopping centres at Tea Tree (SA), Garden City (Qld) and Kotara (NSW) in the lead up to Christmas. These experiential set ups will allow customers of both companies the opportunity to bounce on a Thunder and speak with knowledgeable staff about Vuly products.
“These awards demonstrate the partnership we have with Toys R Us Australia,” Vuly’s Executive General Manager, Troy Hinchco, says. “It’s a great example of the successful and productive relationships we hope to establish with retailers around the world.”
Vuly Trampolines was established in 2007 by the then 19 year old Joe Andon, and has since expanded become an international company worth over $20 million (AUD).
